PAPAYA SEED HYBRID - F1 Red Winner

A high yielding orange to red flesh papaya hybrid . All plants bear fruits. Female fruits are slightly round, hermaphrodite fruits are oblong. Average fruit weight is approximately 1.5 - 2 kg (3.3-4.4 lb). The flesh is orange to red, with very strong flavor and has a high sugar content of 14%. Flesh is rather firm. Intermediate tolerance to papaya ring spot virus (PRSV).

PAPAYA SEED HYBRID - F1 Carina

F1 Carina is dwarf high yielding plant and is widely adapted in various agro climatic conditions. The proportion of hermaphrodites to female plants is 50% - 50%. The flesh is thick, reaching a yellow-orange skin color when the fruit becomes ripe. The pulp color is red salmon, solid and sweet with 11-12° Brix. The fruit weighs around 1.6 to 2.5 kg (3-5.5 lb). The fruits are highly prized because of its consistency and flavor. Under ideal conditions, F1 Carina can yields around 225-250 tons/hectare.

PAPAYA SEED HYBRID - F1 Dawn

Plants are dwarf making it easier for spraying and harvesting. F1 Dawn has a production potential up to 300 tons / hectare. The proportion of hermaphrodites and female plants is of 50%-50% respectively. The flowering period starts between 42 to 46 days after transplant. On an average each plant has around 55-60 fruits, with an average weight of 3.3 kg (7 lb )The flesh is reddish-orange color, with a thickness of 3.25 cm and a sweetness of 12° Brix.

Sweet flavored and suitable as both table variety (home consumption) and processing. Produces 50:50 ratio of hermaphrodite to female plants. Female fruits are globe shaped and hermaphrodite fruits have a pointed blossom end. Tolerant to Papaya Ring Spot Virus (PSRV).
